River Oaks Middle School features two programs for referred Wake County middle school students. Our base program serves students who are not finding success in their base school. This lack of success may be attributed to several factors, such as motivation, minor behavioral issues, or adjustment issues. We offer all core academic subjects, as well as small class sizes and academic enrichment. Our second program, The Booster Program, is a rigorous academic program designed to help overage seventh and eighth grade students, who meet acceptance criteria, get on track for high school graduation.
